On Tuesday, April 5, a roomful of communications professionals were both entertained and educated at PRSA/SENE’s first ever “Dramatic Readings of Bad Press Releases.”
Held in the Lobby Lounge at the world renowned Providence Performing Arts Center in downtown Providence, the first half of the evening featured “dramatic” readings of “bad” press releases as delivered by local award-winning actor Fred Sullivan, Jr. Over the course of a half hour, there were outbursts of laughter, moments of head shaking and plenty of smiles, as Sullivan, Jr. put his theatrical spin on a series of ill-fated releases.
