Value of Accreditation

Having the APR designation after your name demonstrates a serious commitment to the profession, to corporate management, colleagues and clients. Plus, preparing for Accreditation helps you broaden, validate and refresh your knowledge abut public relations research, planning, law, ethics, history and more.

From time to time, the Chapter also offers an invaluable APR preparation class and study sessions. These programs explain the Accreditation process (which consists of a written and oral exam) and you'll discover what you will need to know in order to pass the APR exam.

Thinking about becoming Accredited in Public Relations? If you're a PRSA member and have five years of full-time public relations experience, it is never to early to start planning.
