Even before the pandemic hit, we’ve been living in turbulent times. Whether it’s America’s racial justice reckoning, climate change, the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, or an economic downturn, our lives - and the news cycle - are full of tough topics.

It’s not always times of crisis that require PR pros to think creatively about tone and timing - election cycles, annual events like the Super Bowl, March Madness, or holiday shopping season, and even popular culture or celebrity stories can impact our ability to navigate the news cycle.

Join us on Wednesday, May 11 at 9 a.m. for a deep dive into how to plan, pitch, and secure coverage amidst full - and complex - news cycles. An expert panel of industry professionals will discuss topics including:

  • How can you stay top of mind with the media?

  • What stories and strategies can you leverage?

  • How are PR/comms professionals and media professionals continually navigating our industry’s changing landscape?

  • Where do digital, social, and more traditional mediums come into play?

Start the Conversation Early! Send us your media questions to [email protected].

Panelists:

  • Mike Raia, President & Founder, Half Street Strategic Consulting

  • Alexa Gagosz, Business Reporter, The Boston Globe’s Rhode Island Bureau

  • Ray Nuñez, Co-Founder and CEO of Nuñez, The People's Agency

  • Sarah Dell, Managing Director, Advocacy Solutions

When: Wednesday, May 11, 2022, 9-10 a.m.
