Communicating Controversy

Lessons from experience

Controversy. It seems to surround us these days. It’s intense, emotional, and consequential.

When you are a PR and communications professional working through a controversial topic, you may be addressing those emotions not only for yourself, but for many of those affected – constituents, stakeholders, the public at large. In all cases, ethical communications, transparency, and access to information are paramount.

So how do you “communicate controversy”? Our upcoming panel event will feature local professionals whose positions require them to communicate important information during or despite controversy. They will share their inside stories, successes, challenges, and key lessons from experience to take away.

Sharpen your PR/comms skills or learn new ones at this timely event. Whether you are a seasoned professional or still growing within the industry, PRSA/SENE events are a great opportunity to stay abreast of industry trends and build your network with colleagues new and old.
